if you push too far, you could rupture the ear drum, otherwise cotton can be easily pulled out be the doctor, good luck

Your ear is a closed system. The cotton tip won't go anywhere except the ear canal. What they are concerned with is pushing the qtip into the eardrum which would be painful and could result in hearing loss. If the cotton came off, you would have to go to the doctor's to get it removed. Otherwise it would interfere with your hearing and it would be a source for infection.

You have two choices:
1) go to the doctor and explain what happened.
2) get a friend or family member to gently pluck it out with a pair of tweezers.

wow...you's probably need to go to the ER and get it removed! Unless a person you live with can remove it without rupturing your eardrum.

It would have to be removed. If you weren't able to have someone get it out, you'd have to go to the emergency room to get it out.

and it like sinks into your ear and you can never ever get it back out
