a well balanced diet is the only way actually.

hoodia? the special K diet? atkins... juice diet, hollywood diet... grapefruit diet.... forget it, they starve the system.. you'll get FAT.
average 1400 calories a day.. moderate the garbage foods and exercise more.
drink your glasses of water.. remember you're not hungry sometimes.. you may be thirsty instead.
that will help considerably also.
read up and then try it. you won't starve, you'll feel better and lose the weight, keep it off and have a good mineral count with proper vitamins too.
oh and that person who says drink lots of water and cut down on salt.. is going to suffer from low sodium poisoning, don't do that either you can kill yourself washing the sodium out of your system.

With this diet you can lose between 15-20 pounds/week. You can do it only for 2 weeks then you must stop for 1 month before you start it again. If you do some exercises...you will lose more...
BEFORE each meal you must eat cabbage soup( with onions, hot pepper, green pepper, tomato juice, condiments...MUST TASTE GOOD!!)
1st day= green vegetables,boiled( can ad tomato juice, condiments,salt)+natural juice(no sugar)(m,l,d)
2nd day=fruits(any, no banana)+juice(m,l,d)
3rd day=vegetables+fruits+juice(m,l) and on dinner 2 cocked potatoes with butter and salt
4th day=1banana+1yogurt+juice(m,l,d)
5th day=1/2pound grilled meat(chicken,beef,fish+3tomatoes+juice (m,l,d)
6th day=1/2Pound grilled meat+fresh vegetables(any)+juice(m,l,d)
7th day=0.3pound grilled meat+0.3boiled brown rice(only with salt)+juice
Remember! Before each meal you must eat cabbage soup
It`s better to start the diet on Saturday. This soup it`s a strong laxative.

I have tryed the cabbage soup diet and i lost 12 pounds in one week, instead if useing salt for tast i used season salt and celery salt, its heather, i have a wbsite you can get this from.
