I forgot to get my birth control (Ortho Low) script filled and my pharmacy is closed until Monday. I'm supposed to start my new pack of pills on Sunday night, 10:00 pm. I've only been on the pill for a month. Will it throw me off if I take my pill 12-14 hours late? Will I need to use a condom for the next month? Please only answer if you know for sure!! (Any nurses or doctors out there?)

Ok.l.. Heres the problem. I am 13 and have not had my period constitatly. A few months ago I thought that i was having my period but it only lasted a day and 1/2. I found blood on my panties at school friday and put on a pad. It wasnt that bad friday. But today it has gotton alil worse and it lasted much longer than a few months ago. I told my mom about it but it still worries me. It seems like when I go to the bathroom there's more blood on the toilet paper than the pad... or does the pad just soak it up and make it look like there is not much on there. Is that normal? Since this is my first REAL period how long should it last... Oh and im not having any cramping (thank goodness) but should i be having some, and is it normal to not have any? Sorry about all the questions... but PLEASE try to answer them all!!! THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!!!!

I'm just getting to my period pills after my first month of Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo and I have a few questions...

Can we be sure that it will be affective now? When can we stop using condoms in addition to the pills (neither one of us like the condoms)?

Is there any hormone content in the period pills?

Is there decreasing hormone content in the week of pills before the period pills? I usually get a fairly bad case of PMS (I get very tired, very hungry and I'm hell on wheels!), does PMS have time to hit during the period pills or will I get to forego it while on the pills? (I'm sort of concerned that what has been spread out over a week in the past will hit like a hurricaine in one or two days.)

The first question (affectiveness) I did ask the doctor. I'm just wanting to see what other people have been told and have experienced. The other questions I don't see as being really important enough to have to deal with the doctor to answer them.

My family doctor has diagnosed me with depression and generalized anxiety disorder. I am taking Lexapro, and would like someone who understands my religious faith as well.
I live in Tucson, AZ and have not found a good therapist yet. It is very difficult to keep looking without being discouraged.

I am a diabetic on insulin and oral medications. I am giving up on life because I am alone and the one I love doesn't love me. So I am over eating sweets. Like I ate about a pound of fudge since yesterday and I just finished a half gallon of Edy's ice cream, which I ate in about an hour. I'm getting heavier everyday and my bloodsugar is starting to escalate. I don't care anymore so like an alcoholic, I'm overdosing on sweets instead of booze. Do you think it will help me to just wipe my lousy self off the face of the earth quickly or will it be a slow death? Anyone have any clues??

My doc has prescribed me a few things for the pain! I am not longer wanting to take b/c I got addicted to the meds! Is there anything I can take that would ease the pain! The pain is soo bad i would rather be in labor! Any advice!
I tried hot water bottle thing and that didnt work! What else can I try? I seriously cant deal with the pain anymore!
