Hi Rish,

The JC food averages about $100 to $115 depending on meals and extras you pick. Extras would be "Anytime Bars", vitamins and salad dressings.

The food is reasonably good. On par with frozen dinners at the grocery store.

You supplement the meals with dairy (milk, cheese, yogurt), fruits and vegetables. It's vital you eat these otherwise you'll feel hungry and make a run to the local burger place. You're also allowed all you want of free foods, mostly non-starch veggies.

The wife and I have been on it 2 weeks. She's lost 5 lbs and I've lost 7.

Their counselors will also meet you with weekly to discuss your progress and offer tips, and they strongly encourage activity and drinking 2 full quarts of water daily.

I am on Jenny Craig and I have lost 40 lbs 9 the first week and 3 lbs a week there after. I have not excercised and feel great! the food averages about $100.00 a week at first and the longer you are on it the more discounts you get. This one works for me. I do like this program. I have been on this program for 13 weeks.

I've often wondered this myself. I know that just the standard meals are $300 a month and their food didn't look all that good. That's more than I spend in a month on food now anyhow.
