has anyone had a cervical biopsy? if so did u have any swelling in ur belly?

i had one a couple of years ago, and I don't know why you would have swelling in your belly after just a biopsy. I just had 3 little pieces of tissue removed and it felt like a hard pinch with tweezers. If you have swelling anywhere else, I would call the doctor and report the unusual symptoms. I had a cervical biopsy and the procedure itself hurt pretty bad (worse than the freezing of the abnormal cells later), but I don't recall any bloating.

I had a biopsy done about a year ago. I never had belly swelling at all.. I just had cramps for a day or too.. You may want to contact your OBGYN and see if that is normal..

I had a colposcopy and cervical biopsy done yesterday and I did feel a bit bloated and I also had trouble urinating. I feel it's improving today. You might want to report it to your doc and see if he/she thinks it's normal.

well i have had a cone biopsy done and there was just a small amount of cramping and bloating involved. They knoked me out though and sent me home with some pain killers

i had one but to be honest i dont recall having any. did you talk to your dr about this? if not do so i am sure they can put your mind at ease. if you have swelling for more then a day or two i would call. good luck to you

its a very deep internal non painful minor procedure
