I took an emergency contraception about two weeks ago, and started birth control pills a day after that recommended by my doctor. Right now I am having a very very light period(almost none except for some chunks of blood), I heard that the birth control pill could give you a lighter period, but also it could be a pregnancy symptom... What could it be???

I'm a sophomore in college and I am living in an apartment with one other roommate and cooking for myself seems like a monumental struggle. I've never really cooked real meals by myself for myself. As a freshman in college I stayed in the dormitories so food was provided. I really got into weight training and cross training all around and I am worried now that I may not be eating as well as I did my freshman year, I may not make as much progress as last year. Well I was just hoping someone could offer me advice on some simple, yet nutritious meals that are easy to prepare. If someone could just direct me to a few websites that would be great too!

I deal with severe anxiety from time to time, and I recently reached out by sending an email out to my church's yahoo! group. I really vented my feelings and got into details... I was feeling like I really needed support, but now have regrets about this "broadcast" email.

Someone just emailed me back, and in a very kind and gentle way told me that it was a "bit odd" and "Inappropriate" for me to have shared that information via the Yahoo group.

The underlying vibe that I got was that I probably made some people uncomfortable and may have caused people to think I am a little nuts.

I know that having anxiety is hardly a certifiable condition for the funny farm, but I am now concerned that perhaps my way of "reaching out" was inappropriate.

I am not sure how I can face people tomorrow. I don't want to feel like I can not go to my church anymore, but I sure did find a way to make myself (and perhaps others) uncomfotable and am not entirely sure what to do next.

Thank you.

Ok, i'm sure you all have heard about cutting and such. I was just thinking, is it possible that a person would cut themself so that they can show their pain? Sort of like saying to themselves that thier pain is real, and isn't fake? Like, because if they cut themselves that has to prove their in pain, despite what others say. Is it possible people cut for this reason? J/w
