I had a 13 year history of psoriasis, though I was in good health otherwise. But these severe large, thick and scaly excoriated plaques on my neck, ears, trunk and limbs ruined the way I was leading my life. I would be with red, inflamed itchy skin for most part of the year and these silvery scales would seem to be erupting without any reason. To make matters worse, blisters would appear over already red and itching skin. It was living hell.

I was treated with various options but nothing seemed to be working. Some of the treatments that I underwent in this depressing period of 13 years included tar preparation, tropical steroids and anthralin. I was also given light therapy many times but everything I tried would give me temporary relief.

And soon, after a few days I would be plagued with the situation again. In one of those moments when I was completely lost I stumbled upon this website just by chance. I read it and felt that as if someone had put the story my life on this web page. I was thoroughly convinced that if ANYONE can cure me of condition, it would be you.

And was I right, or what. I started recovering within 3 days of starting this treatment. Something that had become a painful part of me for 13 years was actually getting healed! My ears are healed and my neck is smooth again!. I am a month into the treatment and I have never felt better in my life!

Psoriasis Revolution?

Creams will only relieve a few symptoms, most of them are self-proclaimed and are crammed with chemicals anyway. The root cause of the problem should be addressed, where a group of missing complex carbohydrates should be replaced. This is not a dramatic process. They are responsible for allowing the transfer of all biological data to take place in the human body.

Put basically; Psoriasis is a very mild and early indication that the immune function is compromised. My eldest daughter suffered for 17 years, and was cleared in 3 weeks. No miracle cure or self-proclaimed healing, just pure science at its best.

First things first though;-
Avoid Aspartame like the proverbial plague, and forget Caffeine ever existed. Drink at least 2 litres of bottled still mineral water every day (anyone who tells you bottled water is a hype, has no idea what they are talking about).

Take care now, and good luck.

I was diagnosed with psoriasis at age 14 and now I am 36 years old. You can say that I have tried just about every medicine both approved by FDA and trial without much success. Examples include Enbrel, Humira, oral meds, creams, oils, salts, coal tar, etc and the list is much more extensive that I can't even remember all of the names. But recently after someone shared this video https://tr.im/TreatmentpsoriasisMPqo everything has changed. My psoriasis completely cleared by putting these changes in place. I only wish I'd taken photos of before and after because it truly has been miraculous. I am getting married in Oct, 2015 and I am wearing a strapless gown that also shows my back and I am confident (not like before) that my skin will be soft and pretty vs red and flakey.

Psoriasis is fairly common. There are several over the counter remedies that can treat mild psoriasis. Go to your pharmacist and buy a coal tar based shampoo. Neutrogena makes one called T-Gel but there are generic versions as well. It is not very expensive. Coal tar, for whatever reason, treats mild psoriasis well. If that works, there are also topical skin creams that are coal tar based. The unfortunate thing is that these creams tend to smell awful. Another thing that works well for whatever reason is ultraviolet light. If none of these options work then consult a dermatologist. There are a lot of treatments for psoriasis at their disposal. It cant be cured but so long as it isnt too severe, it can be controlled.

try a dermatologist. and for me I have something similar but not as servere. I use cereva cream or cetaphil cream ( both sold over the counter - you should be able to find it at a local drug store) It works best if used right out the shower. Also drink plenty of water- keeps your skin moisture level up.

also I have tryed elecon ( which you get only by prescription) it is a steriod ointment, but works very well. you will only need a small amount in the area. Also what has worked for me was putting on vasaline ( or any cheap patrolium jelly) at night right before I went to bed. but only do this a couple times a week because it will cause the dead skin to lift- and after taking a shower it will be raw in some areas. - if it does happen- just wip the area with hydrogene peroxide after it has scabbed over.
Also take a hair, skin and nails vitamin (aslo sold at local drug store) it may be located near feminine vitamins in the store- take this once a day - it will give your body the proper vitamins to heal and nourish the skin.

good luck-hope it works for you- it has for me.
- P.S. After all heals and if you are left with any discolored skin- use a product called Ambi-extra moisture fade cream- if you can't find this at a major drug store like CVS - try hair supply store(I have found it mainly in wig and hair supply stores that sell products geared toward afican americans- it's in a brown box)

Anyways, good luck
you gotta condition from the inside and outside for it to really work and heal ( and for me- it did not come back in some areas)

Yes, I know, its not fun. I've had it since I was 8 and I am in my later 20's. At some points, its covered 70% of my body, including my face. Talk about embarrassing.

I get out in the sun. It really helps. I only have a few small spots now! I began going out in the sun and laying there for 10 minutes everyday, and increased the time gradually. If you try to do a whole bunch on one day, you will get a sunburn, which isn't great either.

I have used that shampoo that has coal tar in it for my hair before. The sun doesn't work as well for the psoraisis in my scalp. I try not to use it too much because I'm afraid I will get cancer from it.

According to my reading, psoriasis is one of the skin conditions resulting from candida (yeast) fungus. It lives in our intestines, and can overgrow if a body is imbalanced for some reason (immune system, blood sugar, stress).

In addition to the medications and natural stuff (UV, etc), there are suggestions at www.hufa.org - the yeast link, on what foods help. Some of the anti-fungal foods, like yogurt, may help prevent it from coming back.
