you can look up court records there open to public. Also deaths are posted in news papers if you know when this happened.....I real estate attorney is helpful you may want to call and ask them where to start they are very nice and you have an unusually situation.....then just a regular attorney may be your best bet.....A real estate agent will tell you anything kind of like a car salesman

Why even bother this isn't the twilight zone .... Every house has previous owners each probably with some weirdness ...
they don't have an impact on how you live your life unless u want them to ........honi soit qui mal y pense..........
