I am not sexually active so I know I do not have a STD but I have a small lump on my vagina. It’s right on top and it hurts when I touch it. I do shave so it might be an ingrown hair, but do ingrown hairs hurt? OR does anyone know anything else it could be? Thank you so much for your answers.

Have you ever had a cyst on your ovary? I think I have one. Theres a sharp pain during sex, and a dulling pain (minor, that comes and goes in my lower stomache a little to my right). What were your symptoms?

because, since my wife got it, I seem to have come down with a case and so have all the guys at work. I don't think this runs in my family, but my mom and dad died in a car crash before I was born.

Let me elaborate! From the age of eleven i started smoking marijuana (call it peer pressure or what you will), from there it escalated to amphetamines, ecstacy, cocaine, that not being enough i started to empty my familys medicine cupboards, taking everything from chlorapromazine to kapake to buspar to amptytriptiline (the spelling might not be spot on), the list went on, it reached a climax when my body shut down at the age of about 20 & had to be revived at my local hospital. From then i've seen the errors of my way (i take the occasional drink) but with the damage already done i now suffer from various illnesses which effect my day to day life along with various mental problems depression, anxiety etc. I'm now 25, been going with a girl almost 4yrs, gettin myself qualified to a professional level in PC maintenance/repair, things are on the up but i still feel withdrawn from society, i find it hard to leave the house & i have this overall feeling of dread, will it ever go away?

Lately there is construction going on around our apt complex and for the past few days they are working 20 feet from my window and literally start hammering and buzzsawing at 6:30 am. Due to this I get little sleep at night and feel tired, have headaches, and just feel like I need to fall asleep but I can't... Now they have moved like 30 feet away so it is .5 decibels quieter lol. What should I do to get a good night's sleep? I was thinking of popping a couple benadryl's and putting cotton balls in my ears. Would that help?

every night i set my DDR (dance dance revolution--its' a game for ps2, where you have a dance pad and there are arrows on the screen and you have to step/dance according to the arrows....) to excercise mode. and i do it until i burn 150 calories. it takes like 45 minutes. and on the screen it says that it is equivalent to jogging about a mile and a half, or jumping rope around 1500 times, or swimming close to a mile.
should i be doing more, or less, or is what i am doing, good enough?
i set it to the aerobic setting.....

Hi. I am currently suffering from ADHD and depression. Medication is helping but I'm not sure if it's placebo or it's the meds. Like most people that suffer from such condition, we all want to feel, (think) want to be normal and lie to ourselves that it's all in our head. Well, I want to know if it's true or not. Is there a test that is recognized in the medical field which will prove or disprove of my condition? I've heard of it but don't remember the exact name of it. It's some..."thryid" it starts with a "th" and around five to seven letters long. Anyhow, I might be completely wrong. If you will, please let me know if there is any type of test that will prove my ADHD. Finding the cause will show me the way to fix it. Been on too many pills... It's killing me. Please help.

i always thought that it was better to work out for a full hour or hour and a half, like it would be more effective. recently i've heard some research about splitting up the exercise routine and making two - 30 min workouts. would this be as effective?

Neice (3 yo) has the repetitive version, where she repeats the same task over and over. Also, when asked to hand over one block, she'll just count the blocks.

Nephew (2 yo) has the version where he throws fits constantly and can't focus on pretty much anything at all. He also cannot speak yet, aside from "whee" and "dada".

They both live in an apartment with me, their father, and my stepfather.

How can I help them to learn the most efficiently, despite their autistic problems? How can I learn to help them work around their autism?

Please help, I love all little kids very much, but these two even more because they're family. I want to help them grow, no matter what they may be labeled as.

Can anyone tell me what a clear, slimy discharge could be caused by??? Sorry to be kinda vulgar, but it is a serious question. I have had this issue, not all the time, but occasionally, for quite some time. Does anyone experience this same problem, if so why???

I have just heard of this Asperger's 'disorder' recently. Is the mental health 'profession' trying to create job security for itself by making us all 'patients'. Asperger's sounds like 'shy' to me and nothing is wrong with being shy.

Americans are being medicated and 'treated' for things that are perfectly normal. The 'blues' is not depression. People are not supposed to feel giddy all the time.

It was said that the people affected by Katrina were going to be wrecked forever and a recent survey shows these people to be doing quite well mentally. http://www.boston.com/news/nation/articles/2006/08/29/after_katrina_a_mental_resiliency_is_found/?rss_id=Boston+Globe+--+National+News

Any comments?
