someone i know is currently going to the hospital and getting exams because due to his frequent headaches(near the pituitary gland) and his recent head x-ray, the doctors think he has a type of sclerosis in his brain.
What i want to know is: If that is what he has, how did it get there, how will this affect him healthwize, does this mean he has to get operated on? Please explain.

it's a long story, my mom has been driving across the united states
since i was 10 because of dad's job we had to move every six months or so but lately my mom can't even drive to the grocery
store i don't know why? she says that she thinks she's going to roll over in the slightest curve or when she's above 40 mph i've seen her and her arms get hard as a rock she starts to panic really bad and sometimes this attacks can go away for 1 or 2 weeks but it always comes back and worst of all nobody believes her my family says she's just making it up but i do believe her because i've seen her when it happens i want to help her i don't know what to do now i have to drive her everywhere i don't mind but i'm really worried can anybody help please i'm desperate i want my mom to be back to normal.

Since two days i've been having a sort of scratching and irritation in my eyes, especially in the corner of the right one. Seems its not that disco-eyes thing as my eyes are not red and watery. it looks normal except just scratches a lot!! anyone ever got the same stuff before? what cured it? it's scaring me, especially since it's been two days this happened....whew!

i didnt report it because i feel as if it were my fault because i ased him for a ride because i ran away from an abusive situation i was in with my father and 18 year old brother i leaving was my only escape but it caused even more problems but i got away from it and im living with a family member!!! I didnt know my rapper and who would have believed a runaway anyways!!

There's this guy that comes into my work nearly every day and he is about 5"10 and weighs 230 pounds I bet. He wears big clothes but I notice his arms bust through the fabric and you can see the outline of pure muscle through loose shirt. Anyway one of my coworkers asked to measure his arm and it was 18 inches around. Not like as big as Arnold in his heyday but it was the biggest arm I've seen. Anyway what are the chances he takes steroids or is this common for a natural person to acheive? My arm is 14 inches around and I workout all the time. He has to be cheating?

(FEMALE)I recently went to my docs as I was feeling very lathargic, which I have done for years. I had a blood test prior to that to check that I dont suffer from Thyroid problems (family history). He told me the results from the test. Basically my white cell count is through the floor and all the other tests were normal. He referred me to the haemotogist who said if I wasn't HIV pos (which i'm not), then to stop monitoring it. My doc has monitiored it for the last 3 years and has declined more and more till now when its pretty much base line. He said it was like going to war with 3'000 soldiers instead of 30'000. I'm exercising regularly, but just struggle to have the energy to attend the gym more than twice aweek. He thinks it could be ME (post viral fatigue). I still think that it's thyroid related as I really know somethings not right, but I reckon my docs had enough, so everytime I get a new symptom i just try to forget about it. anyone else got similar?

I had a wreck and fliped 6 times when I was 16. I was not driving. In that wreck I hurt my shoulder because I couldn't raise it above my chest for a week. I was still hurting a couple of weeks later and went to my FAMILY dr. He said that I was sore from the wreck and I will be fine. I wanted a second opinion. So I went to another doctor. I told me I sprained my rotaters cuff and refered me to the chriopractor. I went for 2 yrs straight and then quit cold turkey. I had a bone scan and they said that I had a fractured rib in my back that has healed already. Since then my back still hurts soo severe sometimes at night. I can't sleep I was up one time from 9 pm to 6 am. The pain starts in the place where i broke my rib right under my right shoulder blade and then mirrors itself undermy left shoulder blade then travels down my lowerback around to my stomach and the up to my chest. It hurts to breath. I am bent over during that time there is no way i can stand up straight, the only
