ARE YOU PEOPLE STUPID?! Of course you can get it! Oral sex transmits FLUIDS. the fluids hold the disease. and pretty much everyone has open mouth wounds...if you brush your teeth and see blood, that is an open mouth wound. If someone is infected and you have oral sex with them, you have like a 90 some-odd percent chance of getting it. Use protection...even then you arent 100 percent protected

Unprotected oral sex has a lower level of transmission of HIV than unprotected vaginal intercourse. Anal intercourse is especially risky because the anal tissue tears easily, especially if not sufficiently lubricated. These tears allow a pathway into the bloodstream, but the nature of the tissue is to be very absorbent, which is why some suppositories are designed for that delivery system.

The virus is found within bodily fluids, so if you swallow there is some risk. Even "precum" can contain the AIDS virus. While oral sex isn't particularly risky when it comes to HIV, other STDs, such as genital herpes and warts, can easily be transmitted.

My advice would be to have both you and your partner tested for STDs before any sexual contact and to use either a dental dam or a (flavored) condom until the results return. Please note that the virus can be active in your system for 3 months before it shows up on tests! Also, avoid oral sex if you or your partner have open sores (cuts).

Only if you have an open cut in your mouth and some of the sexual fluids (sorry, don't know which gender you're talking about) get into that cut. Or, if the person with HIV is giving the oral sex and has a bleeding cut in their mouth.

It is not transmitted by swallowing semen. However, if you know you've had sexual contact with someone infected I would have a test for your own peace of mind.

HIV can be transmitted anytime body fluids are transferred in an anaerobic environment, and that includes oral sex.

Unless he has a cut on his penis and you have a cut in your mouth and both your blood come in contact with each other. Or same with a vagina.
