About a year ago, I started going through peri-menopause. Its been a real pain in the butt... I hope that it doesn't go on for too long - but I imagine I might have a few more years of hot flashes, mood swings (poor husband!), forgetfulness, etc, before the final reward of no periods!

I had a complete hysterectomy, so I was SLAMMED into menopause.
All in all, it wasn't too traumatic, because I researched it, and knew what to expect, so I was prepared.

I just started, but I have no problems. Do not take any HRT.
