Have you ever had a cyst on your ovary? I think I have one. Theres a sharp pain during sex, and a dulling pain (minor, that comes and goes in my lower stomache a little to my right). What were your symptoms?

it could be an ovarion cyst, but it could be ovarian cancer, you need to check with a doctor urgently, ovarian cancer is a silent killer as women leave it way too long to go and see their doctor ( 2 women in my family had this and they were saved because they went quickly to the doctor)

Stoopid ovarian cysts!! Sometimes there's sharp pain, sometimes it's dull. You just never know. It depends the size of the cyst and the location on the ovary (top, bottom, etc.). Some cycts cause irregular bleeding or bloating or gas or acne. Some cause weight gain or extreme weight loss. Everyone's symptoms are different. You should really talk to your doctor.

i have the same thing!! at first, i read about ovarian cysts and i was immediately convinced that's what i had. but i also read that it could just be that your partner is hitting your cervix while youre having sex, like he is going too deep inside you, so the advice was to get on top that way you can control how far in he goes, and if it still is hurting, you should see a doctor. it is still hurting for me, and i have an annual scheduled for next week, so i will ask and we'll see what happens! make a dr's appt hun :)

I had a couple removed, I had the same symptoms plus incredible pain during my period. At the same time I also had a fibroid the size of a golf ball so really you should go to your OBGYN, only they can tell you for sure.

My sister had one in the spring, and she just had a really sharp pain for a while, and then they took her to the hospital because I guess it really really hurt and my mom thought she had appendicitis, but it was really a cyst. They took care of it and she was fine afterwards.

Yes, when I was like 17. I had sharp pains in my stomach. It's pretty common and nothing to be worried about. But if you suspect this, go to the doctor so they can prescribe you something to dissolve it.

it could be an ovarian cyst or it could be fibroids, it could also be something entirely different, you need a doctor to listen to your symptoms and either give you an ultrasound or physical exam or both
