During my last doctor visit, there was some concern about some leg pain and questionable veins on my legs.He scratched his head and told me to start wearing support hose daily. He told me to put them on as soon as I get out of bed, and take them off just before going to bed at night. Start with over the counter ones first, moderate to firm support. If there is no improvement in about a month, then he will write a pescription for some.He said" follow these instructions carefully, we want to avoid future surgery. You dont dont have vericose yet." He handed me a paper.I said ok and began leaving. These instructions- Wear moderate to firm support pantyhose daily while active. NO EXCEPTIONS!-
OK,I am 37, married and have two daughters(4 and 2).I think I can handle wearing them under my work jeans and my pants. Its August and 95 degrees.I like to wear shorts after work and on the weekends. My wife says" wear them anyway even with shorts. You have too.Dont worry about what people might think....
