I usually have pain on my left foot, my left eye is lazy at times, my ear aches and I had to have my left wisdom tooth removed because it was aching. Is this a condition that is coming up or it is just a coincidence? Serious responses only please... tahnks.

Two years ago I damaged my lower back lifting a heavy item, I have never had a day since where I am not in pain, the pain is around the inward curve of my spine and is dull, when straightning up it gets much worse, my right leg down to the knee was also really painful at times.around once or twice a day.

About 9 months it became a lot worse and I find it difficult placing pressure on my right foot when walking, the pain is very sharp and comes from my right hip, along with sharp pains in right leg again only down to the knee.

I am in a lot of pain most of the time now, walking - standing bending you name it and most movements are very sore, dont even mention the stairs - I have an upstairs toilet

GP gave me voltarol & amytryptline - had physio (no use)
I am really at my wits end with it and getting down, even when I lie on the couch and relax at night it's sore, same with bed.

Can I force my local health authority to get me an MRI to see what is going on and get it fixed.

my mate shaved his pubic hair a few days ago, and some sore and boil-like manifestaions begin to come out. In fear, he went to the local STD clinic and got checked but was found to be clean. He did not, however, get an HIV/AIDS test. the last time he was sexually active was in May. What do you think he has? could it just be an infection?

I performed oral sex on my girlfriend after having a spicy Indian meal, and the doctor says that the bacteria present in my mouth as a result of eating the spicy food was transferred from my mouth to her vagina and caused her to develop a fungal infection down there. She has been given anti-fungal cream and medication, and I have been advised to use a mouthwash before oral sex in future. Has anyone heard of this kind of problem?

I see it everywhere. Its probably most pronounced in the US, but it seems to be on the rise everywhere I go - and as best I'm aware, if we scrolled back in time a decade or two everyone would have been predicting just the opposite, an increase in internationalism.

When are we going to stop getting our identities from our nationality? Its one of the foremost things people use to self-identify, I'm Brazilian, I'm American, I'm French etc. And its how we identify others too (and a tool we use to automatically assign their views). Its like we identify with people of our own nationality as more human than anyone else. It's insiduous and I feel like we should be telling anyone flag-waving in any country that they're an idiot. So long as our self-identity and the way we categorize other people is based on nationality we're doomed to an insular, xenophobic and war-torn geo-political landscape. That's my view anyway. Thoughts?

jokes and pun aside, is there is a scientific method to actually change one's ethnicity? Could it be bleaching? Skin grafting? Well-thought-out answers only, please.

The first day of my periods was on the 26th and I had unprotected sex the withdrawal method (he didn’t ejaculate inside me) on the 3rd of the following month and my cycle is 28 days. On the 23rd I had my periods but they were heavier than normal and they lasted for 5days than the normal 3 days. Currently I’m feeling nauseous, excess hunger, cramps, and bubbles in my tummy and most of all… the frequent need to urinate. Could I be pregnant?

I would just like to ask all those living in the Philippines (preferably Metro Manila) where I could purchase tea tree oil. I'm having flea bites and I've read from one of the answers here that it's effective on curing them. I've tried some well-known drugstores and a herbal store, but I'm still with no luck. Does anyone have an idea?

I don't know much but on an average wherever i see americans or europeans they are really very tall and i know that basketball is one of their favourite games and they play it a lot. So i think that probably it's one of the reasons that they are so tall? Sometimes when i see the NBA basketball on TV, i see that they are really very tall. So i think that probably basketball is one of the chief reasons that they are so tall and also basketball is one of the many ways to get a good height. Isn't it? Tell me your opinion? Tell me what do you think and are there any other ways to get a good height not less than at least 6'3''. I think that basketball mainly involves physical exercises and streatching up of body organs and that's the primary reason why it helps in getting a good height. Is there any other sports which helps in getting a good height other than basketball? Please don't tell me anything about artificial ways of getting a good height-eg. medicines, surgury or anything like that.

Should obesity be regarded as an eating disorder rather than it being seen as too much temptation on the supermarket shelves mixed with a lack of deep-seated self-esteem or whatever other issues is causing the obese person to turn to food for comfort?
They reckon 1 in 3 could be obese in the UK not too far from now and the US is not far behind, if not ahead. Would more people be prepared to address their eating behaviours if it was treated as a mental coping mechanism?
I know that if i were to be obese i would definitly not be happy with my body. But i smoke and drink coca cola. My coping mechanisms. :-)

Just like, give the anorexics a break. I bet obesity costs the NHS a lot more than all the other 'eating disorders' combined!

Ps. i'm not anorexic or obese.
