I had sex on the 16th August, my period was due the 17th August. But as of yet, nothing, nada, nowt, zilch, zero.....I have not yet fallen to the communists!
But seriously, I have bad gas, Weeing profusely, No appetite, Ive been sick twice in the morning this week, headaches, somedays I'll feel like I can't bring myself to put a bra on, My boobs are very veiny,I cant stop sneezing and a runny nose too, I had diaorrhea really bad, then I was constipated...But I took a test on wednesday afternoon and it was negative, and one thursday morning and that was negative....Is it possible I tested too early ? Its driving me insane, I just want to know either way.....I'm worried that all the symptoms are in my head.....Any answers are greatly appreciated!

Lost of women come to Yahoo Answers to find out if they're pregnant ... but I think you forgot to pee on your computer mouse ... If you don't do that ... how can we tell.

Maybe yes and maybe no. Most of your symptoms are probably caused by some viral infection sounds like. So called morning sickness doesnt just occur in the morning as the name indicates it can occur anytime of the day, or night. When I was pregnant I certain smells made me sick, the side of my breasts were sore, and i even passed out a couple times. But you wouldnt have symptoms of pregnancy this soon if you were pregnant, the little swimmers are probably still in route. Sperm can survive for up to a week in the vagina. Also I just realized you said your period was due on the 17th so it is really unlikely for you to be pregnant because your not ovulating. Use some extra protection about a week to a week in a half after your period, this is when your probably ovulating, and a prime to get knocked up. Also just fyi, there is a test on the market the can tell if your expecting five days after a missed period. check with the pharmacy

I don`t think your pregnant lets face it you had sex the day before your period was due, if you are you will have been very unlucky I think you have got your self into a state with worry these symptoms sound like someone who is extremely anxious, this can also effect your periods.
Pregnancy tests today are very accurate even if you are a day late.
If you are that worried go to the chemist and they can do a test for you.

You Could be pregnant, and you are 8 days late, but as it would be quite soon after a missed period especially as you may have conceived late in your cycle the Hcg levels may be too low to register on a test yet. All the symptons do point towards early pregnancy, but also can just be a hormone thing.
There is a pregnancy test that you can do a few days after a missed period, think it may be called 1st response, but you would have to check with the chemist.

Yes it sounds to me too that U are ill rather than pregnant - still a bit early for symptoms of pregnancy(?) periods can be late for lots of reasons, or just plain late to keep you wondering. Leave it a week if you possibly can and then re-test.
Either way - please use protection in the future there are more than just unwanted pregnancies out there; good luck which ever way it goes!

You could well be. Did you have sex any other time during that cycle? Most women ovulate around 14 days before their period. I had symptoms but it took 4 tests before they told me what I already knew! I was too impatient and kept testing - Clear Blue made a fortune out of me! Give it another couple of days. Good luck x

pregnancy test kits these days are very sensitive to hcg. try looking at the test in different lights some people only produce a very faint line in the early stages following conception. Any line however faint is positive. Symptoms could just be pmt!! also try a different brand - some are more sensitive than others. good luck!

You've got the symptoms of a delayed period, I think. Morning sickness wouldn't strike until you're at least a month pregnant, normally. I'd go along with the tests results and accept you've got a virus. Probably not pregnant, though.

Shouldn't think it is pregnancy. It sounds more like a flu virus to me. Anyway you don't usually get pregnancy symptoms this early and a women will usually ovulate 14 days before her next period, so having sex one day before you were due, I would think is almost immpossible to fall pregnant. Leave it a few more days and if symptoms continue and you still haven't got your period go and see your doctor.

Sounds like you could be preggers, or have a really low immune system and have picked up every bug that's going about. Maybe you should get yourself down the doc for a check up and a test.
