this is for people who do not have chronic depression.
the way the human mind works is it files memories. much like a rolo-dex. which is why when someone mentions something your mind floods with memories or ideas. you simply opened the file.
if something tragic, or overwhelming has happened to you your brain has a real hard time filing the memory.
mean while it tosses and turns the memory around trying to find a place to put it. while it is doing that the memory torments you. this is totally normal.
the problem people have is they fight it, or they try to psycho-annylize themselves trying to find a way to stop the pain.
if you just relax and let the brain find a place to put it the pain will subside.
usually people end up getting mad, or depressed and start taking their aggression out on people who have nothing to do with what is going on. and the pain continues as long as you keep fighting.
remember knowledge is power. understanding the beast is the best way to defeat it.
