During my last doctor visit,there was some concern about some leg pain and questionable veins on my legs.He scratched his head and told me to start wearing support hose daily.He told me to put them on as soon as I get out of bed, and take them off just before going to bed at night. Start with over the counter ones first, moderate to firm support.If there is no improvement in about a month,then he will write a pescription for some.He said" follow these instructions carefully, we want to avoid future surgery.You dont dont have vericose yet." He handed me a paper.I said ok and began leaving.These instructions- Wear moderate to firm support pantyhose daily while active. NO EXCEPTIONS!-
OK,I am 37, married and have two daughters(4 and 2).I think I can handle wearing them under my work jeans and my pants.Its August and 95 degrees.I like to wear shorts after work and on the weekends.My wife says" wear them anyway even with shorts.You have too.Dont worry about what people might think....

Don't worry about what others think. It's none of their business why you're wearing pantyhose. You're not out trying to impress anyone, so who cares if narrow-mind people find it odd that a guy is wearing hose. Until they start paying for your doctor bills, they have no right to judge you.

It's your body, you can put whatever you want on it. And don't worry about this too much - they make hosiery for men you know. Check out http://www.comfilon.com There are more pantyhose wearing men out there than you'd believe.
A friend of mine showed me a forum for men in hose. http://forums.delphiforums.com/LegwearUF/start I have only visited it a few times (they don't really need girls support there) and it isn't fetish oriented at all, just a group of guys that like to wear hosiery and are supportive of each other.
My personal opinion is that hosiery is good for the legs. They offer great support while looking really good as well. I wear them every day without fail. Besides, men have great legs. I think it's time they started showing them off. And pantyhose will only make them look better!
By the way - shave your legs. Leg hair under hosiery is itchy, and looks yucky. It also makes the pantyhose want to slide down. It is just much more comfortable to wear pantyhose with shaved legs.
Don't worry about wearing pantyhose - its honestly not that big of a deal. You're going to love wearing them - they offer really great support and comfort.

Yes, there are some pressure socks that look like pantyhose that improve circulation, this is used in patients with ulcers, and various circulatory problems. It prevents the veins from swelling.

The only decision now is what color to choose. I suspect this is a creative way to get your wife's permission to start wearing her clothes.
If she is good with it, try for the bra and panties next. Can a wig be far behind?
