To many cons to even list. I have worked with special needs children in this age group. Some cases have been supported by the child giving a videotaped statement, which can be done in a less threatening environment. If it is absolutely imperative that this child's' statement be heard; that would be the best way to take the statement, and the least traumatic for the child.

Have you lost your mind? No. A child that young would suffer emotional harm and must not be put on any witness stand. There are other more acceptable and appropriate venues and interviewing strategies for obtaining the testimonies of very young children.
