I´m a 36 yr old white male, 5´9" and 180 lbs. with normal blood pressure and an active lifestyle. I don´t have diabetes or any other chronic disease. Ever since I switched to anaerobic exercising (free weights three times a week) from aerobic activities (15-20 miles running a week) my average resting heartrate has jumped from the 55-65 bpm range to anywhere from 80-100 bpm. I can´t figure it out especially since I don´t have any additional personal or professional stress since the switch.

Don't just say "yes" or "no". Please give details, like how long you drank the diet soda, what was the name of it, etc.

my boyfriend and i have been having sex a lot lately, and usually we start with no condom, but later about a minute or so, he gets the condom. he said that he doesnt precum and his ex girlfriend and him would always have unprotected sex and nothing happened...in a way i trust him when he says he doesnt precum, but i just want to be sure that i wont end up pregnant. and he doesnt *** until a long time during sex, so having sex for about 2 minutes unprotected wouldnt hurt right? what should i do to prevent getting pregnant? i would take the morning after pill but isnt it a little to late? we've been having sex for about 5 days now.

I have a long, noticable scratch mark on my wrist. How do I get rid of it before I go back to school next week? I dont want people to see it and think Im all emo and stuff like that. I do not plan on wearing a long sleeve shirt to cover it up. I was thinking about putting a few band-aids on it, but that would look ridiculous! Any solutions? :)

I am 16 , haven't had an actual period for about 8 months. I have gained a lot of weight since I started menstruating. My boobs haven't really grown past an A cup and they are slightly different sized. My sister is 2 years younger than me and has normal periods and has size C cups. What is wrong with me? Could stress and weight gain cause absence of periods? Do I have a hormone imbalance? Is there any natural remedy or herbal pills i can take that would help my hormones balance out?

And How Do I Get It To Stop?

specifically what are the nutritional ramifications because I have read that B-vitamins and protein cannot be absorbed because of the portion of small intestine that is bypassed. Also, what happens if there is a pregancy? What happens to a developing fetus if the B-vitamins and protein is not accessible? What are other downsides to gastric bypass surgery? I want to make the best informed decision and I am afraid that I am only hearing of the "up" sides of surgery or at best "sugar coated" negative sides to the surgery. I would like the most information anyone is able to give me! Thank you!

On the news last night there was a discussion about a condition called Hughes Syndrome. The symptoms are very similar to ms, & they reckon that there may be some people wrongly diagnosed as having ms,when in fact they have Hughes, which can be treated with aspirin.Hughes is caused by a thickening of the blood, which affects the brain.I don't want to give false hope, but if you know anyone with ms,ask them to go for another test, you never know,it just might help them.If my understanding of this is wrong, please forgive me,I'm only trying to help.
