efflux might be the correct answer, as it is the fluid that flows through something, and they would be looking for clear fluid through the urethra, or ureters. I think only ureters are bilateral, there is one midline urethra.

Ureters are tubes that carry urine from kidneys to bladder. Urethra is tube that carries from bladder to the outside.
