Or better yet what WAS happening in my chest. Maybe a month or two ago I used to get these terrible pains in my chest, and one time I tried to bend my back backwards over a chair to pop it, and I noticed that the pain went away after I heard and felt this "gurgle" for lack of a better word. Now knowing this every time I got that pain I would bend backwards over a chair, hear/feel this gurgling rumble type noise and the pain would go away. I haven't had that pain since but I got it off and on and will probably get it again, what exactly could be the problem, and what was the gurgle, and how did it fix it?

Is there ANY reason BESIDES being pregnant that somebody would not get their period? I have always been a week late, for the past 2 years, but now it's been like a week and 2 days. Starting to get a little worried....only had sex ONCE since last period...was about to start birth control with this period...huh wouldn't that be ironic? Please tell me there are other things it could be.

The medical leave is not work related and yet working my job aggravates the situation. I am still seeking treating for my situation and this could be end up to be a life changing surgery. If I go back to work, and I do like my job, and they let me go, I would have no insurance, hence I would not be able to finish my treatments. I feel stuck between a rock and a hard place. My short term disablity ends 9/27/06. I value any reasonably opinions.

I understand that condoms only reduce the chances of STD contraction. all viruses are extremely minute: could they not simply pass through the porosity of a condom? Besides there is skin to skin contact. any definative answers to this query?

It is now day 4 of my wisdom teeth removal recovery time, and I have a few more questions. To all those who have answered my queston already, thank you. But, I do have more.

1) Is it normal for swelling to still be persistent on the left side of my face? It is just as big as yesterday. I admit, I did not do the warm compresses as much as the cold, so maybe if I do that all day today it will go down. What do you think?

2) Am I in the clear for dry sockets now?

3) I have to go back to work Tuesday, and I work somewhere where I'll be in close contact with customers. How do I get rid of this breath? Plain brushing? When can I floss again?

4) What does the healing tissue in the "hole" look like? Is it dark? The reason I ask is because when I woke up this morning, I felt a small piece of stuff on my tongue (and, sorry for being graphic) it was smelly and whitish/clear. Was it the clot? I don't think so. I think it was justa piece of food that got stuck up there.
Again, thanks!!

I've watched this movie several times. Yeah, I'm a sentimental old fart, but I've survived three times being nearly killed. Blown 100-yards out of a semi truck, had a semi truck laid on me, and ran a 105.5 temp for two weeks, on life support for six weeks, after a child gave me a resistant form of strep throat. Sorry, never saw any white light. Since surviving these, I've strived to pay it forward.

For example, if a person is dying of renal failure which is caused by cancer that renders the kidneys virtually useless and lapses into a coma in his/her deathbed and eventually dies 4-5 days afterwards, was that person ever able to heard anything said to her in the room during her last days? The patient showed very few signs of discomfort, and never opened her eyes until just before dying for a few seconds; never was able to speak (but tried to just before dying); and never moved anything other than her eyes just before death. I have heard yes, she definitely could hear; maybe she couldn't ; and it depends on the kind of medical situation. Okay, the latter sounds logical to someone who doesn't know much about such things, but does anyone here cite anything with a good source? Has anyone here known anyone who recovered from a bedridden coma and was able to remember things that we said while he/she was in the coma? Serious answers only please.

Which is better?

To exercise first, then take my breakfast or
To eat first, then cycle-away the fat??

Thanks.
