antibiotics will cure tonsillitis without surgery

but if your tonsils are there, they can become infected another time!

There is also a type of BAD tonsillitis you MUST have a procedure for called a "peritonsillar abscess" or "quinsy"

No. Sooner or later your tonsils will have to come out if they keep getting infection. Anti-biotics is a short-term solution.
