I just bought an exercise bike and I intend to use every morning.

Which is better?

To exercise first, then take my breakfast or
To eat first, then cycle-away the fat??

Thanks.

The fat from your meal probably won't be available for fuel by the time you exercise.Doing this on an empty stomach increases the likelyhood that you will burn fat during because of lack of insulin in your stream.Try caffeine and aspirin before to help release fat into your bloodstream to be used as fuelEating afterwards can speed up recovery according to research.Don't listen to anyone who tells you that you're stupid for asking this question. It's a valid question.Simply examine the syntax of anyone who calls you stupid as someone did.I think the true answer as to who might be stupid lies there.

Wrong sort of exercise for a start (its not high-intensity anaerobic stuff you're doing but low-impact aerobic work ). Not to worry, going on the basis that you enjoy it and the fact that ANY exercise is better than none the answer is simple.
Work out on your bike first thing in the morning before food. Drinking water, black tea, green tea etc is good - but no food.
After your routine (no more than 45 minutes maximum) eat a high protein food with some carbohydrates. This will ensure that you lose the fat and tone your muscles. Less than 45 mins will also ensure minimal long-term oxidative stress.

Good luck.

Both. You should have a very small snack such as a breakfast bar, apple or small yogurt at least 10-15mins before working out. Do your routine and then eat a good size breakfast afterwards.
Eg: Bowl of nutrious cereal, toast, fruit. Something healthy.

And do not worry what other people say. People that say you are stupid for asking a question. Have they ever asked a question in their entire life? Yes! Then they would be just as 'stupid'.

Certainly - always eat after not before... Exercise draws the blood from your body for oxygen and to carry the waste by-products away from your muscles... Food needs the blood to aid digestion (carry the digested food around the body).

So, if you eat before exercise you will get cramps and pains because the food cannot be digested and your muscles will be less efficient..

Besides exercise stifles your appetite; so you will find that you want to eat less after exercising anyway...

I'm not a fitness professional, but what works for me is to complete my workout and have some sort of meal within an hour of completing my workout. For me I use a protein shake that seems to do the job. Good luck with the bike!!

if you do not have overweight is it good to eat first, for example fruit or musli, and for sure drink and take something to drink with you

if you are overweight and you want burn fat, than eating is not so neccessery,

you can also eat nothing but take lunch wit you so when you feel hugry or weak you can just eat.

if you are trying to boost up your muscles and performence than you have to eat before training, but like half hour before and than bike :)

also if you intend to use it in the morning it is good to eat breakfest in the morning as it wakes up your digestion system so it burns callories and food that you eat during day easier, but breakfest should not be meat etc.
just light breakfest :)

Eat a piece of fruit or something real light before biking...wait 10 mins then ride away. When you are done, replenish with another healthy snack.

you must eat a very light meal/breakfast and then have a spoon of peanut butter right before you start exercising.

you shouldn't have a meal immediately before exercising as it can put pressure on your internal organs, as well as make you spew it up again!!
