I've seen many negative reviews and some positive. Don't know whether to take advantage of the money back guarantee...

I've heard nothing but bad things about them. don't have personal experience with the full sized ones, but I bought a car sized ionic breeze from the Sharper Image store on ebay, it worked ok for 2 days then suddenly stopped and wouldn't work again. They wanted the opriginal packaging for the return but I had tossed the box. Their customer service people were big pains in the a$$ and I had to complain several times before I could get a refund.

Their "money back guarantee" means they guarantee to give you a hard time if you try to return their faulty products.

I would not. I own the Sharper Image Ionic Breeze and the thing does not purify air very well. I have only cleand out the inside once in the year I have had it and the inside is still clean after three months. The other thing about the Ionic Breeze is that it is not silent there is a constant humming noise.

The Ionic Breeze tested poorly according to a 2003 study conducted by consumer reports for two reasons. It is too small to be effective and it emits harmful ozone in quantities that could have deleterious effects on one's health.

I use a Fresh Air from EcoQuest. I carefully reviewed many air purifiers and this is what I found.

The Fresh Air technology by EcoQuest was developed to remove airborne pathogens from the air in spacecraft. In fact, EcoQuest was just awarded Certified Space Technology Status.

Ecoquest has had some negative reviews however because of a lawsuit that was filed years ago before they changed their name from Alpine to Ecoquest. That didn't bother me at all being that I am in business myself and I am familiar with today's extremely litigious business climate and how a company must be constantly reinventing itself to keep growing.

I am happy with my Fresh Air. I have noticed a significant reduction in my allergies. In fact, I recently went on vacation and stayed where there were no air purifiers. My allergies came back ten-fold and did not subside until after a few days of being back home and in my home office all day with my Fresh Air on.

It doea work, but only in an average size room. Not like they say on TV, for the entire home. Try it.
