Like if someone that was a vegetarian/vegan suddenly went back to eating meat would it make you sick? Would your body not know how to digest it? Thanks

I use Centrum now, but would like a vegetarian brand.
I looked into a couple from VegLife, but they were not balanced. 2% rda of one vitamin, 1000% rda of another in the same supplement. I don't want megadoses of any vitamin.
Thanks for any help.

I was just wondering what everyone's worst experience was when it comes to other people finding out or dealing with you being vegetarian or vegan. I've been veg my whole life, so I've had plenty of ridiculous comments and reactions!

Also, has there been a best experience? Like someone being unusually open to your ideas and willing to learn more about them? Or someone who went out of their way to make sure a meal is taken care of for you?

Thanks for sharing!

I am not talking about consuming them for nutritional purposes. I want to know if you wear leather or suede. If you have ivory jewelry. Or if you have bone china. Fess up.

This friday, my school is having a wear fur/blaze orange day in support of hunting. as a vegetarian who is obviously against fur, hunting, and the like, I want to make a tshirt that shows this. I can either iron something on or use fabric paint. any ideas that will get the message across?
thank you very much

Hi, I'm thinking of going vegan but I don't know if I'll have the willpower, plus where I live there is a tiny amount of vegan substitutes available to buy...
So I would really appreciate it to hear from some vegans and tell me how easy/hard you found it?

Thanks!

Obviously those vegetable meat patties are probably better than eating actual meat. But are they as good as eating vegetables, or even close? Is the kind that Subway has good for me? I actually like them a lot. In other words, is this stuff just "not as bad as meat" or are they "actually beneficial"?

I tried a veggie burger from subway and I was shocked that I actually liked it. What are some brands that I can buy at the store that are good? Are boca burgers? anything else?

And is the food pyramid valid? I've heard off and on that it was of no value, then it's great again. What's the latest?

My Sweetheart and I are committed to a healthy lifestyle and we want to make some good, healthy Christmas goodies this Christmas!
Her family will make the traditional fat and sugar stuff. We want to make some good stuff too, without the unhealthy fat and sugar.
Thank you for your kind help!
Merry Christmas!
Love, Alan

does anyone know of a good vegetarian recipe book which has healthy dishes? Like the dishes which are high in whole grains, fiber and low in fat/cholesterol?

i don't like online recipes because computer is not in kitchen and making printouts wastes cartridge ink.

I would like diverse vegetarian dishes from all around the world instead of dishes from one region only. I like trying new dishes.

OK..........so I know vegans like to use products that are not tested on animals, but I'm curious as to what happens like when you go to a public restroom? How do you wash your hands? Do you always bring along your own animal friendly hand soap? I'm just curious, I'm not making fun or trying to give anybody a hard time. I have been vegetarian for the past 14 years and am really thinking about going vegan, so I was just wondering what one would do in this type of circumstance. Thank you guys alot for your answers!

My friend said that sometimes vegetarians are fatter than meat eaters. Is that true or is she lying?

2007-11-27 13:02:09 · 14 answers · asked by Anonymous

i am a vegetarian and i do not hate meat eaters but when they start saying meat is healthy isnt that ignorance of the fact that the meat industry has caused more deaths than auto industry and natural storms put together? people always say meat provides protein well so does beans and a bunch of other stuff

they also say meat is good well yea if its good why is it killing you?

they also say we are DESIGNED to eat meat

which is not true because of our grinding teeth regardless of the dull kanine tooth and our intestines that are shaped like herbivores

do you guys get bugged like this or is it just me?

Today is my first day of being a vegetarian.
My sister is one as well, and has been for a few months.

Since I won't be eating any meat or fish, I realize I need to figure out how to include PROTIEN in my diet.

I really only eat vegetables, but once in a while i may eat shrimp or crab. (no complaints please, i don't need to hear it)

So basically, any ideas on tofu recipes and other tastey ways to keep my diet healthy and full of protien so I don't get sick?

Thanks (: Best answer will be chosen.
