I understand that if it's marked "kosher" it doesn't use rennet, but I can't even find any marked Kosher.

A lot of times, instead of rennet, it just says "enzymes" are used to cure it, I don't know what they mean by that.

I was wondering what other vegans do to celebrate World Vegan Day, November 1st. I just learned about it this year.

I know that there's an ethical issue with exploiting any other species for human consumption (I currently avoid honey products) but I'm not sure where to draw the line. Why sure I avoid honey in particular? I'm just looking for different opinions... And no I don't eat meat, dairy products, buy leather, go to rodeos, use products tested on animals, etc....

so I'm completely against animal cruelty, animal testing and hunting, but i eat meat and find nothing wrong with it. i believe that human bodies aren't meant to not eat meat, but thats just me. i don't eat meat of wild animals (except fish, but i am Japanese so it is kinda part of my heritage), i only eat meat of domesticated animals (like cow, not cats or dogs). so is this hypocritical, or is it normal? PLEASE no Jackass answers. Thanks!!

With the holiday approaching, I dont want to miss out on everything I used to consume, and Id like to makre some breads, like banana or apple cinnamon breads, and they require milk and eggs.

Milks not a problem, Ill go with soy or rice.. but what about eggs?
