This friday, my school is having a wear fur/blaze orange day in support of hunting. as a vegetarian who is obviously against fur, hunting, and the like, I want to make a tshirt that shows this. I can either iron something on or use fabric paint. any ideas that will get the message across?
thank you very much
(and please no rude remarks)

Carlo d'Umbria-I'm sorry I didn't mean to generalize vegetarians. When I said 'obviously' I was refering to the fact that I had already implied in my question that I was against hunting and fur. I realize that people become vegetarian for different reasons and by no means am I suggesting that all vegetarians should be forced to believe what I do.

You could use red spray paint to simulate blood and write "HUNTING WILL BE A SPORT WHEN THE ANIMALS CAN SHOOT BACK"
or

"WOULD YOU WEAR YOUR DOG?"
and make it look like it's dripping as blood would do.

Or, if you have the tools, you could get one of the horrific pictures of the fur industry from PETA, transfer it to an iron-on, and use that on your shirt.

Great job on speaking up! I grew up in a conservative hunting Bible belt town, as well, and I had GREAT FUN doing things like this!!

You say, "as a vegetarian who is obviously against fur," but it is NOT obvious, and there is not an obligatory connection between being a vegetarian and being against fur, hunting, and the like. Several members of my family are vegetarians, and they choose to be such for a variety of reasons. Yet some of them enjoy hunting and fishing for recreation and sport, and often the rest of us enjoy the bounty of their successes. The rest of the family completely respects their choices, and they respect ours.

Don't make assumptions about why people become vegetarians and others won't make assumptions about you.

I can deff. relate to what you are doing. I support anit-fur. My father is a hunter so I can not give you any ideas on that but maybe paint a tee saying what you are and why. Best of Luck!

On your Tshirt show a picture of an animal with their families ie have the young ones with big human babies eyes and below this picture write .....For the fun of humans.....or......Hunt me......

Or you can wear fur with blood on it (red paint) on the back written ......can never wash it off, can you........

Peace sister

I truly appreciate THIS sentiment: http://www.northernsun.com/n/s/1038.html

Or you could go with the simple "Fur is Murder" sentiment.
