I need good natural aliments that can provide a substitute for the proteins. Alternative foods, or even sites where I can get more options. I'm a bit tired of the old tofu option.
I need diversity, please help?

Does anyone have advice and/or a credible link on how to safely become a vegetarian? I have heard one shouldn't stop eating meat all at once. I would need help on a vegetarian diet that has all the nutritional requirements. I appreciate your answers.

Does anyone know of a quick and easy vegetarian recipe please? Im a bit sick of eating pasta and stir fry! Im a lacto-ovo vegetarian which means that I still eat eggs and dairy products. I also dont have a grill at my house.

Neither eat fish, but both eat dairy (dont think they like eggs though). One likes soya mince but the other doesnt. I want to make something that they will like and that I can also serve to my other guests without them complaining about 'rabbit food'. Any suggestions, other than ordering a take-away!

Is it sympathy for animals why your dont eat meat? Is it more of a female thing to do being that females are usualy more gentle creatures. Because I can't go without meat. God gave me sharp pointy teeth and Iuse them. I'm by no means trying to insult vegetarians I just dont understand it.

Hi my girlfriends and I are at Coffee Bean. I'm using their wireless internet to ask this question because we are discussing this very topic. I think that if you cook the meat well enough all the bad stuff in it will be cooked out such as the hormones and fat. Am I right? Also does coffee and coke cause cancer?

I have been a lacto-ovo vegetarian on moral grounds since I was 11-years-old. This is very very important and huge factor in making up who I am. Somehow, people never seem to understand. They give me funny looks like I'm nuts and MOST of them even say things like "I'm gonna make you the best steak ever" or "Here, want a bite of my hamburger?" except for the very few who comment on just how cool it really is. And I do think it's cool. It was an idea presented to an 11-year-old and something that wound up sticking throughout adolesence, teen years, and young adulthood. It is me! I really just want to know how to help others accept that other people having an opinion or lifestyle other than their own is not only NOT wrong, but right! That is, after all, what the world runs on...where would we be if we all looked, acted, and thought the same?!? C'mon, people!
