This is my favorite side dish, can leave out the bacon. But it is real tasty

Summer Squash Saute
Yellow squash with colorful bell peppers makes an attractive and delicious combination that goes well with many entrees. I enjoy experimenting with new recipes, and fortunately, my husband likes new dishes appearing on the table. —Maxine L., Boise City, Oklahoma

Griiled shrimp and veggies on the barbie. I live in Southern Louisiana and fresh seafood is readily available at a reasonable price. It tastes great and quite healthy.
To give you an idea of the price, I bought some fresh shrimp this past Saturday. It was 21-25 count per pound for $4 a pound. Can't beat it!.

My favorite food is steak. It's so good and it feels so good in your mouth while you're eating it. A great steak is just heaven on a plate. But since you're thinking of non-meat foods, a really good risotto is nice. It's so creamy and rich and it absorbs any flavors you put into it, like roasted vegetables, cheese, herbs and spices. Happy cooking!

Pizza. Because I can make it a million different ways. My favorite way is to pile a whole package of prewashed baby spinach on a homemade crust, it should be about 6 to 8 inches high, add finely chopped onions, pour alfredo sauce from a jar on top and add cheese. Don't worry, the spinach goes when you cook it.

Take two slices whole wheat bread, spread non dairy (tofutti) cream cheese on both sides. sprinkle with salt, pepper, and a little oregano. Top with thinly sliced tomatos and very thinly sliced red onion. Close the sandwich, put margerine on both sides, and grill in a pan until golden brown on both sides and cream cheese begins to melt. yummmmm!

I enjoy sliced tomatoes with olive oil, shredded cheese, dash of garlic salt and Italian seasonings then microwave for about 1 to 2 minutes. I really love it.
