Is it sympathy for animals why your dont eat meat? Is it more of a female thing to do being that females are usualy more gentle creatures. Because I can't go without meat. God gave me sharp pointy teeth and Iuse them. I'm by no means trying to insult vegetarians I just dont understand it.

well for starters, everyone is different... some vegitarians (specifically vegan-y ones) are die hard animal rights activists, while some simply think it's "gross" to eat animals and animal products... and then there are people who do it for health reasons, for example a lot of studies are linking typical american ailments (like arthritis) to our huge (in comparison with some other countries) consumption of beef... also the hormones and antibiotics given to these animals seem to be reeking havoc on us on an evolutionary scale... (ie: 3rd graders developing breasts, and the average age of menstruation getting younger and younger... and also these so-called "super bugs" are also evolving faster than we can seem to come up with new cures)
but im certainly no expert, someone else will have far better answers for you, im sure... personally, i love meat!! and i am pretty gentle *smiling*

I became a vegetarian sort of by accident. I was working very hard and had no time to cook, so I was getting my meals from a vegetarian deli. After about a month I had a couple of days off, and I went grocery shopping and cooked a meal with meat. I couldn't eat it - it tasted DEAD! Meat has repelled me ever since. I made a few tries at going back to eating meat, but I couldn't swallow it. Now I don't even walk past the meat case in the store if I can help it.

A word about teeth: c'mon, look at a cat's teeth - your "sharp pointy" teeth are nothing like that! And you have four of them, rounded off as they are, out of 32 teeth total. Those not-so-sharp, not-so-pointy teeth are not much good for eating cooked meat anyway - bet you chew with your molars when you eat a steak! Try and tear a dead chicken apart with your teeth and you'll find that they really are not suited for the task.

If you say you don't want to go without meat, I will respect that. But to say that you can't is clearly false - you can, and you'd be healthier if you did. But it's your choice, and I'm not going to try to change your eating habits, just a few bits of false information you've "swallowed" at some point.

Eating flesh is foul, it pollutes the body and mind.
The body is more supple, the digestion more efficient, and the mind more lucid with a flesh-free diet.
Nature gives carnivores claws and fangs- carnivores lack lip and tougne control, and cannot properly chew food.

Many vegetarians do not understand why someone would want to buy and consume cellophane wrapped animal flesh either.
