I want to make a pasta dish that I had in a restaurant, but I can't remember what it was called. The restaurant had a station where you were able to choose what you wanted in your pasta (shrimp, vegetables, etc.) and they sauteed it all together in a light sauce. I know there is a specific name for it, but I can't remember.

I am going to puree brocolli, sweet potatoes, squash, carrotts and other things (if you have any ideas, let me know) because I am having jaw surgery and don't just want to eat pudding & jello for 2-3 weeks. (not sure how long it will take to heal). My normal diet is very low on dairy and sugar so I don't want to suddenly eat all this post op.

I am thinking to puree things now for Dec 18-31... just due to my schedule. I won't be able to leave the house for about a week since I'll look scary and be too drugged up to cook or drive. Anyway, thanks for any tips!

(Any general puree advice is welcome too. )

The recipe says to cook on low for 7 hrs. My concern is that there is hardly any liquid involved in this recipe. About 2 tablespoons. Is that going to be enough liquid? Is there any rule of thumb as far as how much liquid should be used?

Has to be the famous Shish Mahal!

Originally one of the original Indian restaurants in the UK, the owner Ali first opened in the 60's with his mother as the cook. He is widely accepted as creating chicken tikka masala, its a unique experience the Shish, unlike the Ashoka chain which are like 'fast food curries'.

Yesterday I was making double chocolate chip cookies and my problem is this, everytime I make them and put them on a cookie sheet, they stay the same way as when I placed them on there. They look like clusters rather than spread out, flat cookies. They're really good tasting, but they don't look like a normal chocolate chip cookie.

I followed the recipe accordingly the only thing I substituted was the butter, I used margerine. It's with wheat pastry flour. The recipe didn't call for baking powder, could that be the problem?

I have a recipe for an oatmeal pie crust.
It calls for one cup of butter. I'd like to add peanut butter to it. Can I add 1/2 cup of peanut butter to it, and use 1/2 cup butter?

I'm really hungry right now and don't have anything directly on hand so I figured I'd make something. I tried looking on a recipe site, but it's not helping right now. I don't have any meats on hand, so I can't use any of that.

any suggestions?
