I want to make a pasta dish that I had in a restaurant, but I can't remember what it was called. The restaurant had a station where you were able to choose what you wanted in your pasta (shrimp, vegetables, etc.) and they sauteed it all together in a light sauce. I know there is a specific name for it, but I can't remember.

It is a common technique to finish cooking pasta in the sauce. It could be anything. I have done scampi, primivera, fra diavlo, etc. in this manner.

You said light sauce....Was it a tomato cream sauce or a garlic and oil sauce?
