RE:
how can you freeze chicken noodle soup?

I sometimes will make a big pot of it, and then divide it into indiviual portions or family portions and put it into freezer bags. My son loves homemade chicken noodle soup, so by putting it into individual portions, I can take out one bag for him for a quick lunch when he wants it. I just thaw the bag in hot water and then heat it up in a bowl. Works out pretty good! :) I haven't had any problems with freezer burn by doing this. And I always label and date the bags.

Soup, stews, sauces and/or chili can be frozen by either placing in single or meal sized serving containers leaving enough room for expansion or in Zip-Lock bags. Remember to label and date the containers before placing in the freezer.

Place it in an air tight container like a plastic bowl with a snap close lid, and then put it in the freezer.

i freeze chili, chicken soup, spaghetti suace all the time... today i made chili and i will freeze it in meal size containers ,and pull it out as needed. the only thing is the carrots break down when frozen in the soup.... they become sorta water logged... i usually just remove the carrots afterwards and buy canned carrots and throw those in the soup when i reheat!!

I would suggest single serving containers of Tupperware.
Leave enough room on the top so that it doesn't freeze over because the broth will expand.
