quesodillas: easy and kids love them too!!
stick of butter , flour tortillas, cheese (preferably a blend of yellow and white) buy shredded or shred your self
using medium high heat melt some butter in the pan. the amount the size of a butter pat should do it depending on tortilla size. i prefer to apply end of a stick of butter right to the pan and rub it around it.
as soon as butter is melting slap a tortilla on there and move it around so it is coated on the bottom with your butter.
immediately put some cheese on half the tortilla but not all the way to the edge (cos it will melt on your pan by melting out)
crack some pepper over the cheese if you like.
now fold the tortilla in half like a taco and flip it. you should have some golden browning bubbles on the bottom. cook on other side until golden and a little crispy.
this whole process takes me about 2 minutes 30 seconds. its really fast and best served immediately.
you can also have finely chopped veggies and meats handy to add with the cheese if you like. handy to adding nutrition..especially for picky children. you can saute the veggies ahead of time if you like. if they are chopped small they will cook really fast.
if you don't get it right the first time thats ok! just try it again. if your butter scorches too fast lower your heat and wipe out pan with a dry paper towel.
good luck.. yum!

Hi Jess, here's a really easy recipe you can cook without any problems at all. You can cook for lunch or dinner.
Chicken Adobo
Incredients needed:
1 Clove of garlic
Vinegar
Soy Sauce
Chicken - you can use wings, thighs or drumsticks.
Place your cooking pot on stove-medium high heat, and while the pot is heating up, take your clove of garlic and grind it in a bowl. Once you have done that, place the grind garlic in pot and stir while it's cooking. Add your chicken and mix it with the garlic, once you have done that add 1 cup of Soy Sauce and 2 cups of Vinegar. Stir chicken in the pot, cover it and let it cook for 1 hr under medium heat. Your done it's that easy. You have made your 1st Chicken Adobo recipe. Enjoy.

I had the same problem not too long ago. Check out the link below. It gives you pictures and everything. The recipes are so easy and they actually make you feel like you've accomplished something. It's a good place to start and then graduate up to more difficult recipes.

Well,Spahghetti is relatively easy.
All you do is boil the water and put a little bit of salt in the water. Then when it's boiling put the spahghetti in there and let it cook for 8-10 minutes. And in a saucepan, get the Spahghetti sauce and heat it up.And if you want meatballs, all you need is ground beef and roll it into little balls (don't think wrong guys). You can season it with pepper and stuff like that. Then you cook those. So when it's all done, get a plate and enjoy.Oh,and don't stab the spahghetti, twirl it.

This is my hubby's recipe. At first I thought it sounded and looked horrendous, until I carefully took a bite and now I'm in love with it. There's no name for it, we call it SOS. Best part is that it's a one pot meal.
2 cans of tuna (he prefers in oil) drained
2 cans cream of mushroom soup (I buy him the low-sodium)
1 soup can of milk
1/3 pound of Velveeta, cubed up
A good handful of frozen peas
Garlic powder and black pepper to taste
In a saucepan combine the tuna, soup, and milk. Stir until combined over med-med-high heat. Then add the Velveeta and stir until melted. Add the garlic powder and pepper, stir, and then toss in the peas. Cook until everything's hot.
We normally serve it up on toast points, but biscuits would be great too. You'll be done in under 30 minutes. It's one of our favorite weeknight meals.

What kind of recipes do you want? Meat, veggies - pasta?
For a good, general primer, try buying a really basic cookbook. My mom never taught me ANYTHING about cooking, so I taught myself how from the "Better Homes & Gardens NEW Cook book".
I like it because there are simple pictures of every technique and identifying pictures of ingredients when you need them. Lots of variations too so you can get fancy if you want!
Good luck!
