i want to make a chicken casserole for tonight but im not sure how to do it correctly.

like a chicken, cheese and rice casserole. but instead use potatoes.

should i?

cut potatoes into cubes, add my cream of chicken soup, cheese, then chicken breasts on top and cook all ingredients raw??

You can cube your potatoes and cook it that way but you might be better off if you shred them or use hash browns, that way you can ensure even cooking and that all your ingredients will be cooked all the way through and not some cooked more than others.

I would precook the rice halfway, cut the potatoes in slices like scalloped potatoes, they will cook faster, and addwater to your casserole the potatoes will cook more evenly and they will soak up the liquid. mix all ingredients in a baking dish and cover with alumnum foil and bake for 1 hour on 375.

it hink you should slightly pre cook the chicken and shred it to put in your casserole hope i helped

you certainly can, but keep in mind that would take about an hour or more to fully cook in the oven
