I found a recipe for coleslaw that looks pretty goood but i don't have white vinegar only red wine vin. Does anyone know it will taste alright still?? It only asks for 1/4 cup and i think it would be fine, anyone else have an opinion??

I often use any vinegar I have on hand, so red would be fine. I like white balsamic too.

hmmm never heard of that one, i usually use a mayo and some pineapple juice with a little vinegar.... the red wine should be fine, it may change the color of the slaw though.
