I finally had just bought my crockpot over the weekend when visiting family in VIrginia. I had bought a whole chicken the other night and decided to make with it with roasted potatoes. Do you suggest making it in the crocpot or the oven? Which will come out tastier, juicier, and more moist? Please include any recipes. Thanks a bunch.

What are the funniest you have read? For example one in Latvia was written in Latvian which seemed quite straight forward but was translated as "sweat and sour sauce".

Another read "Bulls balls a speciality!" (Hope that will not get erased as abuse. None is intended. I look forward to reading your answers!!!

I just found this recipe that came with my rice cooker that uses coconut milk, onion, curry, and ginger... I added garlic, pepper, and butter to it too. I thought it was sooo good compared to the regular white rice, which I eat CONSTANTLY

Anything interesting you do with your rice?

Recipes for frosting often call for creaming butter and sugar with a food processor or hand mixer, because I do not have these items, let alone any small appliances, I need to do this by hand, but cannot find any suggestions for this.

I'm having a fairly large cocktail party (about 40 people) and i need some ideas for recipes for little finger foods. I would prefer cold dishes, and ones that are easy to make ahead. Hot is okay, but i would prefer cold. Any ideas?
