Boiled turkey? Ew. If you just need to cook it to use the meat, why don't you just cut it up into pieces like a chicken and roast it in the oven? It will cook even faster if you de-bone it. I'd probably bake the pieces twice as long as chicken, since it's at least twice as big, then check them to make sure they are cooked through. I'd also suggest basting with butter often so they won't dry out as much.

Set the turkey in the sink with COOL water (not warm) and put a cool wet towel over it.
Not sure on the cooking part -- just know how to thaw it.

Go to Wal mart or the grocery store and buy a turkey bag(next to the plastic wrap)
season the turkey...stick in the bag..put in a pan...bake for about 4 hours on 325.
GO....hurry

if you have a pot that big you sure can
until the internal temperature of the turkey reaches 165 f
i have never heard of any one boiling a turkey
maybe two hour
