The bread crumbs in the store that you buy, that come in the tall can. 'Italian Seasoned'. Do these type of bread crumbs go bad? If they do any idea about how long they can last? There is no date on them, i actually have 2 seperate ones. They have been kept stored with the plastic cap on it, but they are opened from the actual seal on the inside and am unsure. I have had these for quite some time and am wondering if i can use them in a baking recipe. Thanks in advance =)

I am having 6 guests over for prime rib. We are all big eaters. How many pounds should I cook? No guesses please. I would like the opinion of someone who really knows the answer to this question. Thanks.

I used to have a recipe for cooking Prime Rib. It was very easy. Basically, you rub the rib with Lawry's salt and put it in the oven for a certain number of hours per pound. You would then turn the heat off and let it sit for a while. Could somebody fill me in with the details as far as how many hours to cook the meat and how long to let it sit with the heat off. No links to recipes please.
