How about some homemade Corndogs?
Here is what you will need.
1 lb. precooked hot dogs
1/4 cup of Cornmeal
3/4 Cup Flour
1/8 Cup of Sugar
1 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 Cup milk
1 beaten egg
You'll also need some popsicle sticks cleaned.
Mix all the dry ingredients together. Add egg & milk, mix until smooth. Dip hot dog into batter & fry in hot oil until brown on both sides. Drain on paper towel. Serve hot.

it's messy but good. Buy the little smoked links, either monz cheese or swiss, the long size, and a can of pineapple slices. wrap and roll. cheese first, then cut the pineapple in half,put the sausage in and roll. Put them on the oven 350 till cheese melts. I like them hot but they are usually served cold. Another one is same links, bacon and brown sugar. I cut the bacon in half. roll the link in the bacon then sprinkle brown sugar all over them bake till bacon is brown. Usually about 30 min,

kids love mac and cheese and are capable of stiring in the cheese sauce and butter once you boil and drain the pasta.
