Put it on a big platter, it will look like you slaved! Just serve it breast side up. Alton Brown, Food network, piped mashed potatoes around the bird on the plate, so the bird would not slide off en route to the table.
Any veggies you want, california blend, corn, green beans, carrots, make them fancy en casserole, or serve them plain. For pretty, I'd pick the carrots, the turkey, potatoes, stuffing are all shades fo beige and white, carrots perk up the plate. For fancy, you could glaze them.
Gravy is my favorite sauce for a turkey, the canned stuff isn't that bad, it is not as good as Mom's giblet gravy, but Mom isn't here, so I make do. Nothing better than homemade mashed potatoes and/or dressing, with gravy. Serve it on the side, in a gravy boat, or a bowl with a gravy ladle. Have enough, we always ran out of gravy!
And don't forget the cranberry sauce, the jel or the whole cranberries, which ever you prefer.
As for presenting the turkey, some people bring it to the table and carve it there, some carve it in the kitchen without showing it off, and some people show it off, then return it to the kitchen to carve. Choose your method. The end result is the same, the slices and the legs ended up on a plate, and the bones end up in the kitchen.
Good luck! and try allrecipes.com for help. It's free.

Shame on you! Roast your own turkey. It's not that difficult. I did a twenty-pound one yesterday with sausage and apple bread stuffing and served it with garlic mashed potatoes and home-made gravy, braised brussels sprouts with walnuts in tamari sauce (delicious), and Christmas cookies for dessert which I also baked.
Or...
Cranberry Sauce (from a can) served on the side,
Brussels Sprouts (you should at least be able to make these)
Gravy (from a can) in a gravy boat,
Instant mashed potatoes and
Pumpkin Pie (which you can also buy)
Put the turkey on a large plate. Carve it badly. Make sure it's hot when you serve it.

Get a turkey roasting pan. Then get a can of gravy. Dump it all in there with the turkey. Then mess up your hair.....put some water on your forehead and get some pot holders to carry it to the table. Serve mashed potatoes and veggies (you can get those premade too)

Serve it on a dish that you regularly use, and take away their vegetables and put your own.
Make sure not to serve it in the dish it came in.
Or just throw it in the oven for an extra couple hours to make it appear a little more flawed ; D

To pass it off as your own, I would burn it a little. I seen some show where they prep the food for commercials and stuff and they use a blow dryer. I say, use a blow dryer and burn a small section.
