She is incredibly irritating, (YUM-O, DELISH, HOW INNANE IS THAT?). She was here in Puerto Rico for $40.00/day and managed to make a real a** of herself. She really turned off the culinary community here with her diva attitude. To all the chefs answering here, yes she is an embarrasment. How in the hell did she ever win Iron Chef? She must have a great manager and publicist. Now she's on the Ritz cracker box!

I want to slap her. Especially when she says EVOO. WHY can't she just call it olive oil like everyone else? And her smile is too big. I think she's on something. Nobody can be that happy all the time. It's not normal, and neither is she. (SLAP)
What also gets to me about her is the couple of times I've seen $40 a Day, she's just *barely* put the food in her mouth and she's like, "Oh this is SO SO good. Yum-o! This is wonderful!" Give me a break. She's just barely put it in her mouth and hasn't even started chewing--how could she possibly get a good taste of it enough to rave over it?

Well, I like her okay, altho I have made a few of her recipes and haven't found one that I have really liked yet. She takes too many shortcuts for me, and I really hate "instant food".
I don't usually mind the weird words that she uses, but I agree with everyone else about the EVOO thing. If you're going to shorten it fine, but don't explain it every single time you use the shortened version. It drives me crazy!

Well, I'll admit that it does annoy me a bit, but I'm too busy staring at the food to really care. Just like some guys are too busy staring at the hot girl's boobs to really care what she's saying, lol. Then again, that "E.V.O.O" crap irritates me to no end. I mean, I'm trying to translate this to my non-English speaking mom, and how can I do that when I don't know what the hell that's supposed to mean?!

She talks with her hands way to much. I think it'd be impossible for her to stand still for more than 5 seconds. The E.V.O.O thing is really annoying, especially when she explains it every single time. i only watch her occasionally out of convenience, when there's absolutely nothing else on tv.

Nothing upset me more than when she won on Iron Chef a few days ago (or was it a repeat). I feel dumber everytime I see her. Annoying beyond words.

Who wants to eat her instant food? I sure don't. I like my food well cooked with time. The food may appear to look good, but I'm sure it doesn't taste good.
