I am making some little 'Pudding Cakes' for Christmas and need to soak the fruit in hot brandy overnight, I have some chocolate port which has an amount of brandy in it anyway but would it taste OK in the pudding with the port? Also the brandy is 31% alchohol and the port is 17%. What do you think?

I have seen some recipes online that call for Mayo, but BP's is more of a hot cream cheese, sour cream mixture. They also list mozzarella cheese in their menu. I would love to find something close to this to make over the holidays!

I'm travelling tomorrow, so I've picked the ripest lemons off of my tree, and I have no idea what to do with them. I don't like lemon custardy stuff, bars, or merengue pies, and these are meyer lemons, so I don't think I should really use them for chicken or something else of the sort. Any suggestions?

I would like to cook a meal at my work for our holday party, but all I have to cook with is a convection oven. My recipe calls for 400 degrees for 20 minutes in a conventional oven. If I did that in the convection, it would come out black!

OK, I want to make a big holiday meal but would like to know the best approach at tackling this...

Here's the 'hot' items I have planned so far - Appetizers: Spinach Stuffed Mushrooms, Hot Broccoli Cheese Dip, Deviled Eggs. Main Course: Turky, Ham, Green Bean Casserole, Cranberry Pear Chutney, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Candied Sweet Potatoes, and Cresents. Desserts: Cranberry Apple Raisin Crisps, Pumpkin Pie and Peach Cobbler.

The stuff that I have planned that I know we can eat cold, I've left out. I really would like to know what stuff is all right to leave out overnight (if any) and still be good, and what I'd want to really save for last to cook. I'd like to pace myself with all the cooking and not being doing a TON of things at once. Any info or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Our electricity is out, and we're at someone elses house. We're going to have to leave soon though, what will be some good ideas for dinner tonight, taking in consideration we will not have any electricity or appliances. And all of our food in our fridge is probably spoiled.
