I remember hearing about someone preparing chicken this way in a book I read. A whole chicken and vegetables were put inside a hollowed out melon of some kind and the baked slowly in the oven. Anyone know an actual recipe for something like that?

I'm vegan.
I hate cooking.
I'm a horrid cook.
And there are no directions on the package.

I have yellow and red beans. Can I cook the lentils like rice with just water and a little salt or does it require more thought?

Okay, so everyone eats something that other people think is SOOO weird until they try it and then they eat it that way too! I've hard of mayonnaise as a french fry dip, french fries dipped in ice cream, honey and I've hard popcorn dipped in mustard? What's your weird delicacy that you swear tastes so good thats got everyone in a bunch??

I am trying to lose weight and need to get in my veggies, I don't really like a lot of veggies and am getting bored with carrots, celery, cucumbers and tomatoes. I have thought about trying swiss chard, I saw some recipes for it, and the recipes sound yummy. My only concern is that the flavor of the swiss chard is going to be bad. I thought it seemed to be like beets when I smelled it one time at the grocery store, basically I just want to know if that was the veggie that tastes like beets?

Also, do you eat the stalk at all? Or just the leaves?

Can't tell exactly what ingreds.was used to make these teacakes all i know they were made from stratch by my great-grandma and my great-aunts.I'm 51 now ,then i was a little girl all cakes and pies and cookies were made from stratch.the best of the best recipes of all.

My oven is very small,I can not bake two cakes at a time.If I make a batter which is for 2 cakes,and make one cake at a time(about 1 hour),is my 2nd cake at risk of not being the same(good) like the first one?

ok i need some answers here. I am starting a job on monday.. yeaaah! the only thing is that i hardly have any food in my fridge and i have 30 dollars in my bank account until pay day which is the 19th, pretty far away.
