FUDGE PUDDING CAKE

Ingredients:-

-1 cup all purpose flour
-2 teaspoons baking powder
-1/2 teaspoon salt
-3/4 cup sugar
-2 tablespoons melted butter
-3/4 cup chopped nuts
-3/4 cup brown sugar
-1/4 cup cocoa powder
-1 1/4 cups boiling water

Method:-

1) Combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, salt and 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder into a 1-1/2 quart baking pan or casserole dish.
2) Stir together the melted butter, water, and vanilla. Pour into dry ingredients, add the nuts and mix well.
3) Add the 1/4 cup of cocoa powder remaining to the brown sugar and combine, then sprinkle over the batter mixture.
4) Slowly pour the boiling water over the top of the batter in a thin stream. DO NOT STIR!
5) Bake in a pre-heated 350 degree F oven for 40 to 45 minutes. Serve with ice cream or whipped topping.

i am not much of a cook but this looks like a winner

Macaroni and Cheese with Bacon
2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
1/4 pound bacon
2 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons flour
1 cup evaporated milk
salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons grated onion
1 1/2 cups, about 6 ounces, shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
PREPARATION:
Cook macaroni in boiling salted water as package directs. Drain the cooking liquid into a 2 cup measure. If necessary, add more water to make 2 cups. Fry bacon; remove to paper towels to drain. Drain off all but 1 tablespoon of bacon fat; add 2 tablespoons butter. Stir in flour. Slowly stir in evaporated milk and 2 cups water. Stirring constantly, bring mixture to the boiling point; season with salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and onion. Add cheese and continue to heat over low heat until cheese is melted. Add cooked macaroni; mix well. Serve with crumbled bacon on top.
Macaroni and cheese recipe serves 4.

I live in Las Vegas so I eat out a lot.
But my favorite thing to make at home are hot dogs. I broil them and toast the bun, put relish, chopped onions and mustard on them. Occasionally I add a few slices of jalapeno, or some sour kraut. I've grown to love San Miguel Beer also, and the two together are great.

Angela's Fabulous Full of Fibre Cookies

convection oven 350ºF
regular oven 400ºF

Macerate ½ c raisins* in ¾-1 c orange-pineapple juice (or other juice) over low heat about 15 minutes. or until plumped. Cool.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
¾ ccanola oil
1 cbrown sugar
1 cgolden sugarMix until smooth.
2eggs
1 tbspvanilla
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1 cwhole wheat flour
¾ coat bran Stir together then add to moist mixture.
¾ cwheat branAdd raisins with juice. Add more
½ tspbaking powderjuice (or water or milk) as nec.
1 tspbaking sodaif batter is too dry.
¾ tspsea salt
1 tspcinnamon
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1 coat flakes/rolled oatsStir together then add to dough. Moisten
1 cshredded coconut**as needed. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto
2 cbran flakes/raisin branprepared bakingsheets - Bake 8-11 min.
1 cchocolate chips Cool 1 minute then transfer to wire rack.
Yield: approx. 5-6 dozen

Variations:

* Substitute raisins with dried blueberries or cranberries or other chopped dried fruit.
** Omit the coconut if desired, and just increase the amount of oat flakes and bran flakes.

Add chopped walnuts, butterscotch chips, peanut butter chips or anything else you’d like!

If you like, add ½ c cocoa to flour mixture and increase sugar by 1/3 cup. White chocolate chips or chunks make a great addition to this version of the cookie.

I LOVE TACO SALAD !!!

1 medium head lettuce, chopped
2 bunches green onions, chopped (green part too)
2 medium tomatoes, chopped
8 ounces cheese, grated
1 can ranch style beans
1 (8 ounce) bottle Catalina dressing
1 (10 1/2 ounce) bag Frito corn chips

1.Mix lettuce, onions, tomatoes and cheese in a large bowl.
2.Refrigerate if not serving at once. Just before serving add beans, dressing and chips.
3.Serve at once. Enjoy !! Opal in Texas

eggs hollindaise............toast....3 egg yolks.....3 tbls of lemon juice....1 stick of butter....bacon pre cooked or cooked in micro......melt butter in micr,beat eggs and lemon together in seperate bowl until lemon in color,add melted butter to egg mixture,,,,mix togethether and micro for 10sec stir continue to cook and stir for 10 sec intervals until desired thickness........fry an egg to your doneness place one toast top with bacon then hollidaise sauce......heaven
