I found a recipe last night for a pot roast in a slow cooker. I put in a two-pound pot roast, four small red potatoes, two sliced carrots, and quartered onion. I topped with a can of cream of mushroom soup and added some water since the meat was frozen when I put it in there. I'm cooking it on low all day. Think it'll be ok?

I know it has peanut butter, I think it has cream cheese and maybe coolwhip. I'm not sure. I loved it, but can't remember where I put the recipe. Anyone know the recipe? Thanks

I canned some tomatoes, but filled them too much. The lids "popped" when I took them out, however, there was some leakage when i first took them out of the water. When they were cool, I wiped the rims and they were on very well and still sealed... are they ok to use? Also I canned some figs 5 years ago, what is the shelf life of home canned goods?

I made some last week. I used 2 jalepeno peppers in the recipe. But it wasn't hot at all. Should I use a different kind of pepper? Any one got a good recipe?

When I was a kid my momma would make these cookies. She had different patterns that were on the end of a metal handle, the patterns were interchangeable. They were Daiseys, Butterflies etc.

She would dip this pattern into a batter and then submerge it into a pan of hot oil. The batter would release into the oil and fry. She would take it out and put cinnimon/sugar or powdered sugar on it.

The cookies were light and crisp.

I have looked high and low and keep coming up empty handed. Does anyone know what the "batter dipper" for lack of a better term is called and what the cookies are called?

I have a 2.5 -3 lb TRIMMED & tied bottom round roast (actually I have 6 of them! LOL) and I need to get them done fast.

I want to cook one before practice and I don't know if I can get it done in less than 2 hours...

someone once mentioned a 500 and a 350 degree way to do it, roast if high and let it sit in the oven for a while or something. NOT SURE.... NEED HELP- please?

I don't have a small roasting dish, but I can whip up a makeshift rake with tin foil strands. (roll them up and place them in a pan so the beef is about 3/4" off the pan)

NO MICROWAVE or CONVECTION OVEN THOUGH.

Make a couple of boxes of banana pudding, vanilla wafers, cut up bananas, cream cheese and coolwhip. mix the pudding, crean cheese and cool whip together. And just layer everything.
Does it sound good with a little cream cheese in it??
