I'm 20 years old and i like to cook with wine, and i dont live at home anymore so i cant buy any. And a few of my recipes ask for red wine, or sherry. Sometimes white wine, but mainly red wine. I was woundering if there was anything i could use in place of the wine or sherry? Also how old do you have to be to buy cooking wine? At my grocery store the cooking wine is by the vinegar, so would i be able to buy it?

A japanese friend of mine used to make these for me at holidays. She would hardboil an egg and wrap it in this beef and then cook it somehow and slice it so you had a piece of hardboiled egg sitting in the middle of a teriyaki beef round. Anyone know how to make this? Thanks for reading.

Went to a (Mexican) friend's house for dinner and they had skirt steak that was put on tortillas, that's it (so simple and soo good). They had a green sauce and a red sauce. How do you make the sauces? And what's the difference between the red and green? How do you cook the meat?

Does anyone have a recipe for layered taco dip that has cream cheese? I'm pretty sure I've made it before with CC, salsa, lettuce, cheese, and olives. Anyone have a good recipe. I hate guacomole and refried beans. So nothing with that. Thanks.
