For instance, if I have some ground beef and on the package it says it contains 15 grams of fat per serving, but when I cook it, I brown it in a skillet than I drain out most of the grease using a screen colander, and sometimes even rinsing the meet off with water. Does that reduce the amount of fat in the ground beef??

Other than the color being yellower and the taste slightly ¨eggier¨, what differences do you find using one versus the other - for example, is it tougher to knead, does it need to rest more, etc. Any other info relevant to this is welcome.... thanks!

I used to have a delicious recipe for cherry nut nougat that I made every Christmas. When we moved, my entire Christmas recipe file turned up missing. I have been able to re-create most of them, but not the Cherry Nut Nougat, made with candied cherries and walnuts. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
