Nope, does this?
Banana Pudding
2 (7 1/4 ounce) bags Pepperidge Farm Chessmen Cookies
6-8 bananas, sliced
2 cups milk
1 (5 ounce) box French vanilla instant pudding
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed or sweetened whipped cream
Line the bottom of a 13 by 9 by 2-inch dish with 1 bag of cookies and layer bananas on top.
In a bowl, combine the milk and pudding mix and blend well using a hand held electric mixer.
Using another bowl, combine the cream cheese and condensed milk together and mix until smooth.
Fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture.
Add the cream cheese mixture to the pudding mixture and stir until well blended.
Pour the mixture over the cookies and bananas and cover with the remaining cookies.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Banana pudding is Sooooo good. If u've never had it you dont know what your missing. But. Cream cheese is a little unpresidented as far a banana pudding is concerned. i wouldnt recommened it, because it's HEAVY, and it may weigh down he bananas, pudding, and vanilla wafers. Plus, Cream cheese isnt as sweet or a light as whipped cream so it may mess up the "intended" taste of the pudding, or the taste that banana pudding eaters are used to having.

Yes, first you have to let the cream cheese soften, then cut and mix into the pudding after that you would be able to gently fold the cool-whip in....cool whip and pudding are very sweet, they would lighten the taste/consistency of the cheese and the cheese would provide some texture.

I think it sounds fantastic! I would beat the cool whip and cream cheese together first though to make them fluffy, then do as a separate layer from the pudding.

Sounds good to me. But I've never heard of that recipie calling for cream cheese. It might come out tasting a little mor like cheese cake! Either way, I 'd definately refrigerate it for at least an hour or two after you make it

I've made "banana surprise" before like that, but never with cream cheese. It's really good without the cream cheese, but I bet it'd be good with it, too!

The cream cheese would propibly make it rich and sweet. It sounds good. Make a small batch to taste it but it sounds like it would be good.

It sounds delicious, but the cream cheese sounds like it might not taste right with it.
